Portugal. The Man Week: Day 4 was a top story for this week. Here it is again: (antiMusic) Alaska rocker's Portugal return to record stores this week with their third album 'Censored Colors,' which promises to take them from underground heroes to the mainstream of the rock world with their incredible sound which takes us back to the day when it was "the music stupid" and not just image that made rockstars. To celebrate the release we asked the band's newest member Ryan Neighbors to pick his favorite tracks from the album and tell us a little bit about each one. Here is Ryan with today's song: And I - This song is about love. I like that. I think this song has on overall good feel to it from start to finish. It was one of the first things we recorded when we went up to Seattle. I was placed in a dark room with candles and incense and I played the intro a bunch of times. It made for a somber mood but I feel like the song as a whole is very hopeful. I think people like that in music especially in desperate times. The overall sound of the recording is probably my favorite on the record. When the song first started it seemed it was going to turn out very different but I love how it turned out. Jason did some great drumming on this song with his Pink Floydish drum fills on the chorus. It just feels good. Wanna hear what it's all about?
