(Rock News Desk) Former Runaways Joan Jett and Cherie Currie have filed a lawsuit to prevent the release of a tribute album dedicated to the 70s all-girl band.

Main Man Records are planning to put out a collection of covers recorded by 36 bands, including contributions from New York Dolls frontman David Johansen and the Dandy Warhols.
