Corey Taylor Plans Ambitious New Stone Sour Album (A Top Story)
. "Right now we're just working on demos...and a pretty grandiose idea that I've been kind of chewing on for a long time," Taylor told Billboard.com. "On a musical scale, artistically, visually, we're going to swing for the fences with this one. If we can pull it off, it would be really cool and... put a lot of people in their place. I'm really excited to get working on it." Taylor said that Stone Sour will begin working on the follow-up to 2010's Audio Secrecy in between Slipknot's Australian tour in February and March and a summer trek in North America. But, first up is his solo tour, to promote his new book Seven Deadly Sins: Settling the Argument Between Born Bad and Damaged Good. He'll do 19 dates, starting November 14, which will incorporate Q&A sessions with audience members and musical performances. "It's everything I love to do in a show basically run my mouth and play guitar and sing," Taylor said. "It's almost like if Johnny Cash and Henry Rollins were the same person, this is the kind of show they would do." - more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the antiMusic.com.
