The National Release New Song From Hunger Games Soundtrack

11/08/2013
.
(Radio.com) When they're not curating a Grateful Dead covers album, The National are putting out a song for the new The Hunger Games: Catching Fire movie, which hits theaters November 22.

For those of us who still want to know more about this teenage battle royale that takes place in the world of The Hunger Games, singer Matt Berninger echoes our questions in the lolling ballad "Lean". He sings, "Everybody needs a reason why they run/ Everybody wants to know what they're running from".

The Catching Fire soundtrack is out Novemver 19 and includes original songs from Of Monsters and Men, Imagine Dragons, The Lumineers, Ellie Goulding, and Patti Smith.

Listen to the brooding, sparse song here.
