John Mellencamp Releases 'Small Town' From Upcoming Live Album
. Due July 8, Mellencamp was recorded in concert at New York's Town Hall in 2003, about a month after the release of his 18th album, "Trouble No More." Mellencamp performed the album in its entirety at the show, and selections from the concert have been pulled together for the live package. The project features a mixture of music from the 2003 release plus some stripped down versions of Mellencamp classics like "Paper In Fire" and "Pink Houses."
