Earlier this week, CBS (Radio.com's parent company) and the NFL Network announced that Jay Z's 2009 song "Run This Town" featuring Rihanna and Kanye West is the new theme music of Thursday Night Football.

The new open will no longer ask, "Are you ready for some football?!" but "Who will run this town?!" Along with Rihanna's voice - Jay Z and 'Ye unfortunately didn't make the cut - the theme will also feature narration from House of Lies star Don Cheadle, who will help set-up each Thursday night rivalry.
