Crobot Stream 'Welcome to Fat City' Title Track
.
Crobot have released an online stream of a new track called "Welcome to Fat City." The song is the title track from their forthcoming album, which is set to hit stores on September 23rd. Frontman Brandon Yeagley had the following to say to CoS about the song, "'Welcome to Fat City, the title track from our latest album, sets precedent for the groove-laden riffage that takes place throughout the album." He added, "Inspired by Hunter S Thompson's campaign for Sheriff of Aspen, Fat City is a planet of sanctuary for the scum of the universe and cigar-smoking big wigs Hunter hoped to keep out of his fine city. Instead, we welcome them with open arms 'cause down here, it's always gritty." Stream the song here. The band is currently on the road with The Virginmarys and Aeges will be spending most of the rest of the year on tour including treks with Sevendust as well as with Volbeat, followed by an appearance at next year's Shipwrecked cruise in January.
