"Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates," Gaga wrote in a caption of a photo of the two arm in arm. "Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break."

She added that she and Kinney have been working through busy schedules and long distance in hopes that their love will move on past these struggles.
