Stainds three-week ride at the top of the Billboard album charts will end when next weeks edition of the magazine hits newsstands. Pop rockers Blink-182s new CD Take Off Your Pants and Jacket will debut in the no. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 200. Staind clinched the top spot when their second major label CD, Break the Cycle was released last month.
The new Blink-182 CD sold close to 350,000 units this week, beating out Stainds sales of a little over 220,000 units. This is the first time Blink-182 has reached the top spot on the album charts.
Elsewhere on next weeks charts: Destinys
Childs Survivor will show a gain of two spots landing at No. 3.
Radioheads Amnesiac will drop from No. 2 to No. 8. Jessica Simpson's
will fall six spots to land at No. 12. Sugar Rays new self-titled
CD will enter the charts at No. 6. Tool and Weezer round out the
Top 10 at No. 9 and 10. Also of note, nu-metal upstarts Drowning
