Trent Reznor Raging In The Studio with Zack De La Rocha.

Trent Reznor is not having any trouble keeping
busy these days. He is not only working on a new Nine Inch Nails album
and recording music with Tool's Maynard James Keenan (see
story) but it now appears that Reznor is also in the studio with former
Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack De La Rocha.
Rolling Stone.com reported the following
earlier this week, Zack De La Rocha has gone from raging against the machine
to raging with the pretty hate machine.
De La Rocha is working on his solo album
with Trent Reznor in the Nine Inch Nails ringleader's New Orleans studio,
the former Rage Against the Machine frontman's manager said Wednesday (August
14).
De La Rocha has reportedly been working
on his debut solo album in earnest since he left RATM in 2000. According
to the Rolling Stone report, Reznor isnt the only friend lending De La
Rocha a hand in the studio, over the past two years he has been joined
in the studio by Roots' ?uestlove, the Gorillaz's Dan the Automator, Cypress
Hill's DJ Muggs, and Company Flow's El-P.
His former bandmates joined forces with
Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell and recorded an albums worth of new
material for a CD that is expected to be released some time this Fall.
At this point it is unclear when the new
De La Rocha CD will be completed and released but we will keep you up to
date on developments.
