Blake Shelton Streams New Single and Announces 'If I'm Honest' Album

Country music star Blake Shelton has released a stream of his new single "Came Here To Forget" and announced that he will be releasing his new album "If I'm Honest" on May 20th.

Shelton had this to say about the new track "I've had a lot of music over the years but I don't think I've ever had a song before that's such a direct look into my life. That's why I'm so excited about this particular song."

He also shared his enthusiasm for his 12th studio album, saying, "This is the most excited I've been about a new album since the release of my second record". Stream the new single here.

Kelly Clarkson Clarifies Her 'Blackmail' Claim

(Radio.com) Kelly Clarkson made waves on Monday when she claimed her label "blackmailed" her into working with producer Dr. Luke but on Tuesday she clarified her current relationship with her label RCA.

"Just want to clarify that my current regime at @RCA is not the same one that forced me to work w/Dr. Luke," she tweeted. "Peter Edge is rad & a good dude!"

Janet Jackson Cancels Another Leg of 'Unbreakable' Tour

(Radio.com) Janet Jackson's Unbreakable Tour has been fraught with delays and postponements, and she just announced that the European leg has been indefinitely suspended.

Tickets have been refunded and no future dates have been announced. In an email to fans with tickets, concert organizers wrote, "The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that, due to scheduling difficulties, they've had to postpone the 'Unbreakable' tour. It is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders."

Jackson told fans last year that postponed dates of the American leg were due to illness, from which she's spent several months recuperating and preparing to launch the tour. Read more here.

Joey Martin Feek's Public Memorial Details Revealed

(Radio.com) A public memorial for Joey Martin Feek will be held this Sunday, March 13th. Gospel musicians Bill and Gloria Gaither will host the event in her hometown of Alexandria, IN.

A statement on the Gaither's official website reads: A public memorial service remembering Joey Martin Feek will be held on Sunday, March 13 at 2:30 p.m. in the Alexandria-Monroe High School gymnasium.

"Bill and Gloria Gaither will host the service, along with Rev. Jerry Young and Mike Owens. Rory Feek, his daughters and members of the Martin family will be in attendance, and are exceedingly grateful for this community's outpouring of support throughout Joey's life and most recently during her illness." Selena Gomez Rescued From Stalled Elevator

(Radio.com) Do you ever worry that you are going to get stuck in an elevator? Pop star Selena Gomez recently shared a video via Twitter of her rescue from a stalled car.

"That time we got stuck in an elevator in Paris.." she tweeted along with the clip. Luckily the doors were able to be pried open, no word on how long Gomez was stuck, or if she's claustrophobic.

Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran Mash-Up Goes Online

(Radio.com) Fans who loved "Everything Has Changed," the charming collaboration between Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, have even more to get excited about with a new mash-up of their songs "Clean" and "Photograph."

"Clean," one of the most sophisticated moments on Swift's Album of the Year-winning 1989, sounds lovely paired with one of the English singer-songwriter's latest hits.

Singer Louise Wendorff previously made a name for herself covering and interpreting Taylor songs like "Style" and "Blank Space." Swift herself shared a video by Wendorff, so the Nashville singer's latest might already be on her radar. She's joined by Who Is Fancy, who lends the songs' stirring lyrics some extra emotional gravity.

Janelle Monae Starring In 'Hidden Figures' Movie

(Radio.com) Singer Janelle Monae is taking her talents to the silver screen. The Wrap reported the "Yoga" singer has landed the third lead role in the upcoming drama Hidden Figures.

The story centers around three African-American women who helped make John Glenn the first person to orbit the Earth in 1962. The film is based on Margot Lee Shetterley's upcoming HarperCollins book Hidden Figures: The Story of the African-American Women Who Helped Win the Space Race, which hits shelves in September.

Monae will star as Mary Jackson, who was the youngest African-American woman on the team. Oscar winner Octavia Spencer will co-star as Dorothy Vaughan. Read more here.

Reba McEntire, Alison Krauss Added to Kris Kristofferson Tribute Event

Paramore's New Album Coming Slower Than They Expected

(Radio.com) Newlywed Hayley Williams got a bit emotional during Paramore's third night of Parahoy, the band's music-filled cruise which also features Chvrches.

Paramore has undergone significant changes since original members Josh and Zac Ferro left in 2010, and bassist Jeremy Davis announced his departure in late 2015.

Speaking to the gathered crowd on March 7th, Williams said the band's next album was coming, but it could take some time. 'We've been�to be honest�a lot slower than I thought we would be," she said. "Sometimes life happens. I took a Twitter break. It was great; you should try it some time. We're gonna go on and make a record for ya. We'll keep you posted" (via Billboard).

She admitted how difficult the past year had been on her, but shared, "At the same time, I would do it again if it meant understanding what having a real friend in this life feels like," referencing guitarist Taylor York, the band's only remaining original member besides herself. Read more here.

Kristian Bush Performs New 'Say Yes to the Dress' Theme Song

(Radio.com) Sugarland's Kristian Bush is making his reality TV debut. The singer-songwriter has penned the new theme song for the TLC series Say Yes to the Dress.

"Forever Now (Say Yes)" is told from both the male and female perspectives of a bride and groom for the show that follows a bride's journey to find the perfect wedding gown.

Jake Owen Talks Life After Divorce

(Radio.com) Jake Owen is embracing the possibilities of a new year via his new single. As he introduces the country to "American Country Love Song," he's also transitioning into a new lifestyle: life after divorce.

"Last year was an interesting year for me both personally and professionally," Owen said in a recent interview (via Sounds Like Nashville). 'I obviously went through a divorce, and my ex moved back to Florida and my little girl went with her back to Florida."

The hardest part has been returning home after a road gig and not having his little girl, Pearl, greeting him with a lively, "Daddy!" "And now it's weird," Owen admits. "I get home, and I'm the only person there and it's so quiet, and it's taken me a while to gain strength back again into knowing that I got to start rebuilding again. So I'm back on my feet.
