I always get in trouble/ Got pushed down in some mud/ Now I need a bubble/
Hey you, scrub me in the tub/ Hey you, I could use a rub!" The episode
airs Saturday at 11 p.m. on FOX. [see full story for more]-

Daryl
Pediford RIP |
BW&BK reports: On October 30th, TRANS
SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA vocalist Daryl Pediford passed away. Guitarist Chris
Caffery, also a member of SAVATAGE, has issued the following statement
regarding the devastating loss to the TSO family.
"Hello my musical friends and family members...
Saturday, October 30th the world had lost
a true diamond. Diamond Daryl Pediford passed away. This news you all know
by now. I wanted to let you all know right away, but I wanted to make sure
we respected Daryl and his family. So I awaited the official statement
from TSO before I spoke here or let the news become official.
I must admit that the past three days have
been very difficult for me. Difficult for my many friends in TSO that have
had the pleasure of working with this gentleman and superstar. To our fans...the
many DDP fans...I know it is difficult for you too. Daryl had become a
part of your holidays. A rock and roll Bing Crosby. Kinda more like a Bing
Cosby! Daryl transcended age...transcended race...He set a standard for
the TSO singers that was often admired, but hardly ever matched.
Like a Stevie Wonder...Frank Sinatra...Elvis
Presley...there was and will only be one Daryl Pediford. [see full story

Lips Square Pants Video Shoot |
press release (action figure) reports: Action
Figure, an Austin-based creative agency specializing in film production
and design has just finished producing the new music video for the Grammy
award winning band, The Flaming Lips. The Flaming Lips' soon to be released
single, "Sponge Bob & Patrick Confront the Psychic Wall of Energy",
will be the first single on the soundtrack for Warner Bros.' "Sponge Bob
Square Pants" movie. Action Figure worked with the Lips' longtime film
collaborator, Bradley Beesley and the band's frontman Wayne Coyne, as a
directorial duo. The Action Figure team headed production efforts with
AF's Mark Miks as the director of photography, George Sledge as the producer,
and Ariel Quintans as editor.
Craig Denham and Ellen Lampl were the local
art directors responsible for the design of the appropriately outrageous
sets that filled an entire hangar at Austin Studios, this past weekend.
A giant pirate ship, a salivating mouth the size of a large truck (in which
the band members were filmed costumed as different food items), seven-foot
plastic bubbles and tons of pink foam were among the scenes of the shoot.[see

Squad
Five-O Injury Doesn't Stop Vote |
Capitol Records (Squade Five-O) reports: A
Message From Jeff, Lead Singer of Squad Five-O: [edited for length]
"I was working yesterday cleaning windows,
listening to talk radio on my ever so cool headset ($5 at Wal-Mart). So
I put my 28 ft ladder up about 27 ft. in the middle of 3 windows. I climbed
up and I got the middle and right window cleaned and started to make
my move to the left one. As I leaned to improve the quality of this window
something most unexpected happened. My ladder shifted suddenly and violently
to the right. So I did what any sensible man would do; I pushed the ladder
away and fell 27 ft. to the earth below. The impact of my thigh on the
railing tossed me like a rag doll head first into 6 ft. high bushes and
from there a complete flip to the ground. When I finally realized I was
on the ground I thought my leg was broken. But upon being able to move
it, I realized it was probably just jacked up, but not broken. I asked
my coworker, Guy, "am I dreaming or did I just fall off my ladder", he
said "no and yes". I told him that I thought I could finish the job to
which he responded "you are bleeding everywhere". It was then that I realized
the bushes had punctured my nose and my scalp. "Dammit" I thought. 911
was called and the EMT's promptly removed the soiled rags and replaced
them with a neck brace and then strapped me to a boardAnyway, I got to
the hospital, they sewed my head up and had to cut off some of my beloved
hair in the process. They determined my leg was not broken and decided
to release me... I was released at 5:45pm and it was an hour drive back
to Pooler, GA., my hometown and voting district. I knew that if I wanted
to vote I would have to be in line by 7:00pm. I made it and got in line
at 6:50 pm... With no shirt, I was forced to wear my blood stained hospital
gown and work shirts The mess that I was did not discourage me from casting
my vote. I was the 2nd to last person to vote in my district. It didn't
sink in until later that night that I could have died from that fall or
how odd the bloody, gimpy Charles Manson look alike must have appeared
to the fine citizens of Pooler. But I didn't really care. I wanted to vote.
I even got on a morning talk show here in Savannah and got to tell my voting
day saga.
Locally celebrity? No. Concerned citizen?
Yes. Vote or Die? Puff Daddy kiss my ass." -- Jeff Fortson [see full story
