Radiohead Vs Blair
Gigwise reports: Radiohead front man Thom Yorke has attacked Tony Blair for his role in the current Israeli/Lebanon conflict and called for his resignation.

In a post on Radiohead's official website the always opinionated Yorke pulled Blair up on several points saying "(My personal opinion) I've had enough of this".

He wrote:

Our government sitting on the fence with the US while world war 3 appears

To be breaking out in Lebanon and Northern Israel.

Korn Response To Fan's Murder
MTV reports: Korn offered their condolences Wednesday (August 2) to the family of Andy Richardson, who was beaten during a stop on their Family Values Tour on Sunday night and died on Tuesday from the injuries.

� According to Korn's statement, the incident occurred during the Deftones set, "before tour headliners Korn took the stage. Korn are appalled at the actions of these men and are imploring anyone who witnessed this senseless act or has any information about the attack to please immediately come forward by contacting local authorities."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Contact Music reports: SLIPKNOT star COREY TAYLOR has launched his own record label to give aspiring new acts in his native Iowa the opportunity to succeed. Taylor's new Des Moines company, Great Big Mouth Records, will debut with local act FACECAGE's new album. The rocker says, "They're a band from here that we're trying to put in the national spotlight. PR reports: Capitol recording artist LeToya's solo career is off to a blazing start, with her self-titled solo debut bowing at #1 on the Billboard 200 and selling almost 165,000 copies in its first week of release. LeToya, an original member of Destiny's Child who co-wrote and sang on the group's gold-certified singles "Bills Bills Bills" and "Say My Name," from their 8-times Platinum album The Writing's On The Wall, is the subject of the new BET reality series "LeToya: The H-Town Chick." CMJ reports: In one of the least shocking and unexpected pieces of news to emerge this year, Robert Pollard has announced the release date of another record. Normal Happiness (Merge), Pollard's follow-up to his first post-GBV effort, From A Compound Eye, is set to drop October 10 and once again pairs him with Ohio-based producer Todd Tobias. The 16 songs average about two minutes apiece and a press release pegs the album as "Pollard's Pure Power Pop For Now People."
