. (CMJ) Now sitting cozy at their new home at Warner Brothers, the White Stripes have made their first official announcement regarding their new album, Icky Thump. While no word on where that title came from, Jack and Meg did include on a message via their website that "some residents of northern England might almost recognize the title, the Stripes stress they are spelling it wrong intentionally just for 'kicks' and 'metaphors,' and to avoid a possible lawsuit from the estate of Billy Eckstine."[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
