(MTV) If you happened to see those White Stripes tour dates that were making their way around the 'Net yesterday (they got no play here at good ol' MTV News), it'd behoove you to forget them because they're incorrect. In fact, according to a statement from the band's management, they "hold no semblance of reality" (oh, snap!) and most reporters "simply found and printed the tour routing the band did in support of their 2005 release Get Behind Me Satan."
