The Company Band Week: Day 3
antiMusic reports: This week we are featuring The Company Band, a new supergroup that includes members of Clutch, CKY, Fireball Ministry, and Puny Human. The band recorded a 4-song EP called "Sign Here, Here, and Here" and we have Neil Fallon (Clutch) with us this week to tell us about the new band, the songs of the EP, and more. Today we ask Neil what the future may hold for The Company Band.

?: Are you looking to make this a long term project or a one off?

Neil: I think everyone would love to do a full-length. But truth be told, we only have four completed songs and have yet to do a single solitary show. I'd like to see this thing realized as much as it can be, but we have to take it one step at a time. A rehearsal may be in order.

We will be back tomorrow with Neil as he tells us about the songs on the EP. The EP is available on iTunes right now and will be released in CD form next week. It seriously kicks major ass. For now you can check out clips of the songs and get more info on the band - more on this story

Choose Your Own GNR Book Cover
antiMusic reports: It's Axl's birthday (Duff's was yesterday) so here is a present GNR fans can buy themselves, the book Reckless Road by early GNR photo historian Marc Canter. The publisher is offering a limited edition "choose your own cover" promotion for the book. Here is some info on the book itself.

Reckless Road is the only authorized book documenting the beginning of the legendary band Guns N' Roses and the creation of their seminal groundbreaking rock album, Appetite for Destruction. Timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the release of this multi-platinum album, Reckless Road offers unprecedented access to hundreds of previously unreleased images and stories about the early days of Guns N' Roses.

When teenager and amateur photographer Marc Canter set out to document his best friend Saul Hudson's rise as a rock guitarist in 1983, he never imagined that he was actually documenting the genesis of the next great rock and roll band of the era. His friend became the legendary guitarist Slash and Mr. Canter found himself front and center, witnessing the creation of Guns N' Roses. Mr. Canter photographed every gig the band played on the Sunset Strip, from their first show together on June 6, 1985, to their first international tour as a newly signed act for Geffen Records. Luckily for the fans, Mr. Canter also had the foresight to audio and videotape every performance, leaving a well-documented legacy few bands can boast. - more on this story
