Annie Lennox Plans Mass Road Destruction

(PR) In support of her upcoming album, Songs Of Mass Destruction (out 10/2 on Arista Records), Annie Lennox has announced the "Annie Lennox Sings" North American tour dates for this fall.

This will be only the 3rd tour of her solo career and will show Annie performing in smaller venues to give fans a more intimate and special experience. The tour will kick off on Roctober 8th in San Diego and wrap up a little over a month later on November 11th in Boston.

“Songs Of Mass Destruction,” was recorded in London, Los Angeles and Miami with veteran producer Glen Ballard (of Alanis Morissette’s 'Jagged Little Pill' fame). In a career that has spanned over 25 years, including the 15 years since Annie released her first solo album, Diva, no other British female artist has achieved so much recognition. Over 78 million in global sales, and 33 hit singles compliment the 4 Grammies, 11 BRITS, 5 Ivor Novellos, the Oscar, and the 2 Golden Globes amongst other accolades.
