So everyone was making "The Office" jokes. We were in Scranton. Get it? I got it. And I liked it. Randy shook us awake around 9:30. We were playing at 11:45. Sheeit.... Wake up. Brush your throat and floss your fingers! The good news, Randy told us, was that the load- in was entirely on asphalt. We learned the bad news quickly, as we found that the stage was 1/2 mile from the bus, up a mountain. A literal mountain. My cobras was burnin'. Got onstage, soundchecked, I ran back to the bus and warmed up. Ran back to the stage, sang poorly, led a parade, hung out at merch, and then shortly after our
signing, it began to rain harder than I've seen in a long time (hail and all), and all of Warped Tour was ruined. Through the wreckage, the shows continued, Ludo got packed up early, briefly checked out Reel Big Fish at the Barbecue / After Party and we all went beddy-bye at a reasonable hour.
