Smile Empty Soul, Anthrax, Fuel, White Zombie, The Cult, and Candiria Stars Rock New Leiana Album
Leiana's Lucky #3 is an action packed rock/metal/punk extravaganza that features an all star line-up of musicians, which include Sean Danielson form Smile Empty Soul, Rob Caggiano of Anthrax, Brett Scallion of Fuel, John Tempesta of White Zombie and The Cult, and Ken Schalk of Candiria.
The Philadelphia-based band is spearheaded by writer and singer, Leiana, who provides the soundtrack for people who love for nothing more than to surf, skate and have their fill of great live music. Leiana utilizes the same "do it yourself" work ethic that was the foundation for early punk-rock movement.
Since 2005, Leiana has been independently releasing records and touring the world on her own terms. Her debut album, "Page", created a wave of critical acclaim and admiration that helped her establish a cult following of fans. The album's first single, "Surfy Punky" was snapped up by several punk compilations as well as well as gracing the soundtrack to the women's skiing on ESPN. "Follow Blind" was also on demand for compilations, and featured on pro-skateboarder Todd Falcon's movie 'Call To Fly'. From there Leiana showed no signs of slowing with the release of her sophomore effort, "No Going Back", which Online Rock called, "Energetic skate punk that should connect even with those who don't don helmets or elbow pads." Leiana wasted no time taking her music on the road and embarked on a full US tour and her first headlining tour of Japan.
Now, after creating a deafening buzz on her own, Leiana has partnered with FOF Label Group for the release of her third album, "Lucky #3". Recorded in Los Angeles, CA by producer by Eddie Wohl (Smile Empty Soul, Anthrax), the album was co-written along with Sean Danielson (Smile Empty Soul), and Rob Caggiano (Anthrax). The album captures the alt-rock energy of Leiana's stage show and melds it with infectious hooks that leave listeners thirsty for more. Leiana's "Lucky #3" is an action packed rock/metal/punk soundtrack for those that love to surf and skate or just like to rock out.
