FBI Block John Lennon Auction Item

. (Gibson) Even 30 years after his death, John Lennon apparently still puts the Federal Bureau of Investigation on edge.

In the agency's latest nosing into Lennon-related affairs, the FBI has banned the would-be auction of the late Beatle's application for U.S. residency.

The piece of memorabilia, which features Lennon's fingerprints, thumbprints and signature, was scheduled to go on the Rock & Roll Pop Culture auction block this week. - more on this story
