The Roots Dare 2 Dream

"We are honored and excited to be performing at Dare 2 Dream," said The Roots band members, "It's causes like this that inspire the fabric of our work. We couldn't be happier to help raise awareness & funding to support education in Chicago."

The People's Music School was started 34 years ago by Dr. Rita Simo with only $625, a donated piano and a dream to make the world a better place. Today the non-profit school serves over 500 students in its Chicago Uptown facility and in various outreach initiatives within the Chicago Public School System.
