Aerosmith Used Pump Era Riff On New Song Out Go The Lights

(hennemusic) Aerosmith have teamed up with Rolling Stone to premiere tracks from their forthcoming album, "Music From Another Dimension."

The latest song to surface is "Out Go The Lights," a riff idea that dates back to sessions for 1989's "Pump," which popped up spontaneously between songs on tour over the years, with Steven Tyler sometimes scatting on-the-spot vocals.

"I remember jamming that live during the show," says Joe Perry. "There was something about that tempo it's got that funk that we do. It just wouldn't leave us alone." more on this story
