(Radio.com) Keith Urban is gearing up for a busy few months. His new album, Fuse, will be out on Sept. 10, and now he's announced he's extending his current Light The Fuse tour through January. Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch will join him as well as Brett Eldredge for his Canadian dates.

In an interview with Radio.com, Urban said he's been premiering a couple of new songs off the upcoming album while on the road. But only a few. "We're doing '[Little Bit of] Everything' of course and another song called 'Even the Stars Fall for You' which is off the new album," he said. "The response for that one has been beyond my expectations so I'm really really looking forward for people getting to hear the whole album."

Fuse will include 16 tracks, many of which Urban co-wrote himself. He said the recording process this time around was different than ones in the past. "We recorded well over 20 songs, which I've never done before. It was just a prolific time and I found a lot of great songs," he said. "Slowly but surely what I thought constituted this particular record started to come together."

Urban said each song on the album defines where he is in his life right now. "There's something about each track that is very much a part of who I am," he said. "Even if it's a song you haven't written like 'Little Bit of Everything,' I make a connection with the song and hope others do too." more on this story
