Beyonce Explains How She Lost The Baby Weight

(Radio.com) Beyonce Knowles is finally spilling the beans on how she snapped back into tip-top shape in just three months after giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy last January.

The singer covers the April issue of Shape magazine in a bright color-blocked bikini, revealing her stay-fit secrets in a behind-the-scenes video for the cover shoot .

"I gained 57 pounds when I was pregnant," Beyonc� said in the clip. "I didn't have a lot of time to lose the weight, because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again."

In the video, Beyonce told Shape that dancing is one of her favorite ways to stay active, adding, "I'm not a person that is naturally very thin. I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape."

Beyonc� reportedly shed the baby weight by combining cardio and lunges with a balanced diet, including one vegan meal a day, according to an interview with her trainer. Check out the clip and read more.
