(Radio.com) "Sexy Socialite," the second single off Canadian synth-duo Chromeo's upcoming album White Women, fits right in with the band's catalog of electro-funk tracks.

The track proudly show off its '80s themes, from bouncy disco melodies to lyrically caustic female vocal over smooth bass lines. "Everybody knows ya/ They all want to approach ya/ And I can't even catch your gaze." The duo seem to be shooting for a catch way out of their league, but fortunately the Chromeo boys come to the realization that they can do much better than the song's superficial social elitist. Chromeo gets a helping hand on the track in the percussive area from Ex-LCD Soundsystem member Pat Mahoney, whose driving upbeat tempos to the table that keep listeners on their toes.

Chromeo previously released the single "Over Your Shoulder," which features the calmer and suaver side of the '80s. The duo used a snippet of the track on the teaser trailer announcing the upcoming album,

White Women has no set release date, Chromeo has passed on other information about the album, including a sizable list of musical guests, including Mahoney, that will appear on the album. Check out the song here.
