Queen Team With Angry Birds For Freddie For A Day

(hennemusic) Queen has teamed up with Angry Birds for Freddie For A Day 2013, the annual fundraising event that celebrates Freddie Mercury's birthday (September 5) by encouraging fans to dress like the Queen singer while raising money for The Mercury Phoenix Trust charity, which is spent fighting HIV/AIDS worldwide.

Gamemaker Rovio Entertainment is running a Freddie For A Day tournament on Angry Birds Friends, available to play on Facebook or mobile between September 2nd-8th.

"Freddie Bird" � based on the legendary singer � makes a special appearance in the game, but not as a playable character. The tournament has a Freddie Mercury theme, with references to iconic songs shown in the level designs. more on this story
