Kurt Cobain Was Planning To Make Blues Album

(The Blues) A friend of Kurt Cobain has said that the Nirvana frontman had begun planning to record an album of old blues covers before his suicide 20 years ago.

He was found dead at his Seattle home, aged 27, after having spent some time struggling with the demands of being famous, and being regarded as the icon of a generation.

Greg Sage, guitarist with US punk band Wipers, tells NME: "He wanted to come to Arizona and record at my studio, and do an album of old blues covers."

But like everyone who observed Cobain's tragic demise, Sage can only wonder what might have been. more.
