(Radio.com) It's been almost a month since Morrissey offended anyone - between his label strife and remarks about Robin Williams' untimely death - but the ghost of his past is coming back to haunt him.

When actor/comedian John Cho stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday (Sept. 22), he recalled meeting the former Smiths frontman for the first time and detailed the most Morrissey-like encounter ever.

"When I was younger, I was in an all-aged pool hall here in Los Angeles and it was filled with Filipino gangsters who were underage. But there was one impeccably dressed Englishman, and it was Morrissey," Cho said, after Kimmel asked if he had met anyone who he idolized.

"I was a big fan. I was learning my guitar chords at the time and I think I walked up to him and said, 'Oh my god, it's you!' And he said, 'Yes.' I said, 'I can't tell you what an honor it is to meet you. I write songs, too.' And he said, 'I bet they're terrible.'

"I was confused because I couldn't imagine someone being so rude to a stranger. I said, 'Mine or yours?' He said, 'Yours.' That was it. But I thank him, he gave me a perfect Morrissey experience."
