DMX Being Investigated For Alleged Robbery At Gas Station

(Radio.com) DMX is being investigated for allegedly robbing a man at a New Jersey gas station over the weekend. According to NJ.com, a 21-year-old man reported that he saw DMX at the gas station with his entourage around 12:30 am Sunday (April 5) morning after the rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, played a show at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. The man, a fan of DMX, then started up a conversation.

In a statement from Sgt. Ronald Glover of the Newark police department he says a member of DMX's entourage then showed the victim a gun and demanded money.

The victim says he took $3,200 from his pocket and that DMX "snatched the money out of his hand" before leaving the scene in one of four black Cadillac Escalades.

The victim told the police that he then followed the four vehicles and was able to take down a license plate number. Read more here.
