.
(Radio.com) ScHoolboy Q released the third installment of his short film on Monday (July 11). In "Black THougHts (Pt. 3)," worlds collide as the rapper and the prisoner he might have become merge in a visually enticing narrative. After being mistakenly arrested for a crime he didn't commit in Pt. 2, ScHoolboy Q faces 16 years in prison. It's a deal his lawyer approves considering the charges he's up against, but he knows the ripple effect it will have on his daughter. As he contemplates his life as a prisoner, the camera cuts to ScHoolboy Q the rapper sitting outside a massive estate dressed in casual attire. When he enters his mansion, the two narratives visually intersect. He wanders a hallway where each room has been turned into a jail cell. Things get especially heavy when walks his daughter to a school bus, which immediately turns into a prison transport bus with the prisoner version of himself on board. Read more here.
