Radiohead Open Call To Fans To Direct New Music Video
. ![]()
(Gibson) Radiohead are calling on fans to create their next music video. Gibson reports: Since the release of their ninth studio album A Moon Shaped Pool this May, the British quintet have been releasing a weekly series of video vignettes for each song from the album. So far, the clips have been created by visual artists and directors like Richard Ayoade, Ben Wheatley and Adam Buxton. Now, to cap off the series with a final vignette for the song 'Daydreaming', Radiohead have asked fans to send in their own videos. They've offered fans the chance to download a minute-long audio clip of the song to use in their video. To enter, fans need to upload their videos to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #RHVIGNETTE. The deadline for submissions is 30th July, after which Radiohead will choose a winner and feature the clip on their website. Find more details here.
