Carrie Brownstein Previews Short Film Featuring Kim Gordon
.
(Radio.com) Japanese-French fashion label Kenzo snagged Carrie Brownstein to write and direct a new short film starring Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon, Natasha Lyonne, Rowan Blanchard and others. The Portlandia actress and Sleater-Kinney musician wrote the short, entitled The Realest Real, as a "humorous exploration of the fickle and instant world of the internet." Kenzo released a trailer for the project, which looks like spunky, kinetic and (of course) stylish side gig for Brownstein and company. Watch the trailer for the Brownstein-Kenzo collaboration here.
