Exhorder Offshoot Heavy As Texas Release First Video03-15-2019
![]() Exhorder guitarist Marzi Montazeri and frontman Kyle Thomas have announced their brand new project Heavy As Texas and have revealed the first taste of their upcoming album. The group has released their first video, which was directed by "Mark Borchardt", for their track "To Keep a Promise". The song will be featured on their self-titled debut album (out April 19th. Watch the video here Montazeri had this to say about how Heavy As Texas came together, "I started this project simply because I wanted to perform new music but wasn't able to sing and play complex rhythms at the same time. "So I thought, I'll stick to my strengths - the guitar and writing songs! I brought in a vocalist that would fit it perfectly - the one and only Kyle Thomas! As soon as Kyle joined everything musically fell into place."
