Barry Gibb and Michael Jackson Song Goes Online
(Gibson) The elder Bee Gee, Barry Gibb, has released a video clip of Michael Jackson and himself working on a song, titled "All in Your Name," back in 2002. See the clip below.

According to Contactmusic.com, Gibb called Jackson the "easiest person to write with." Aside from posting the clip on his website, Gibb wrote: "Michael Jackson and I were the dearest of friends, that's simply what it was.

"We gravitated towards the same kind of music and we loved collaborating and he was the easiest person to write with. 'All in Your Name' is in fact the message that Michael wanted to send out to all of his fans all over the world that he did it all for them and for the pure love of music. I hope and pray that we all get to hear it in its entirety. This experience I will treasure forever." Check it out here

Children Services Investigate Mariah Carey
(TMZ) Social workers from the LA County Department of Children and Family Services will arrive at Mariah Carey's house any moment to conduct a formal interview with the singer -- after receiving an anonymous complaint that she drank a beer while breast feeding ... TMZ has learned.

DCFS launched the investigation after someone complained Mariah drank a Guinness in the hospital after giving birth to her twins. We're told DCFS social workers will ask Mariah about the incident and interview others in the house as well.

The investigation is curious because hospital workers were closely monitoring Mariah and fully saw what was going on in her room. Sources tell us someone from the hospital told Mariah it would be beneficial to drink a dark beer -- like a Guinness -- to assist her in lactating.

We're told Mariah took the advice and drank a Guinness and in no way hid what she was doing from hospital staff -- assuming it was fine to do. more on this story

Vh1 Bringing Back Pop Up Video
VH1 is bringing back their popular series "Pop Up Video." The show is just one of three series that the network has announced for the new fall season.

After a 10-year hiatus, VH1 has decided to bring back one of the channel's most talked about and iconic series, "Pop Up Video." The network has ordered 60 episodes of the familiar format featuring current videos, some new graphics and the beloved pop-up "bubbles" of priceless details and insights. Slated to return this fall, "Pop Up Video" will also integrate interactive elements including user polling and user-generated pop up content that will be reflected in the show. New popped music videos will also be available for viewing and sharing on VH1.com as they air on TV.

"'Pop Up Video' has stood the test of time, ranking as one of the most iconic series in recent television history. For years, people have practically begged, 'Please bring back Pop Up Video!' It's a show and format that now evokes nostalgia for VH1's young adult audience," said Tom Calderone, President, VH1. more on this story

Cheryl Cole Accent A Factor in Her Losing X-Factor Job?
(TMZ) Cheryl Cole was dropped from the judging panel on "X-Factor" largely because producers were concerned her English accent would be too difficult for an American audience to understand ... sources close to the production tell TMZ.

There were other issues too -- we're told Cheryl and fellow judge Paula Abdul had a "lack of chemistry" ... and Cheryl was more expendable.

Producers now want Cheryl to return to the UK version of the show -- but according to sources, Cheryl's royally pissed over how this situation was handled ... and may sever ties with "X-Factor" entirely. With Cheryl out, Steve Jones will be the only host on the show -- which debuts in September -- while Nicole Scherzinger fills the open seat on the judging panel. more on this story

P-Funk for the Smithsonian
(Gibson) Parliament-Funkadelic's infamous Mothership is heading to the Smithsonian. Bandleader George Clinton has donated his influential group's spaceship stage prop to the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture, according to Rolling Stone.
