We're told Phillip had the 6 and a half hour long surgery in L.A. Wednesday -- and he is recovering well. The stones that were removed were so huge there was no chance he could've passed them on his own. As TMZ first reported, Phil was scheduled to have the surgery last week ... but it was delayed because he had a fever and sinus infection. Phillip suffered through excruciating pain during the entire season of 'Idol.' It obviously paid off. more on this story
Adam's alarm company notified the cops of a possible intrusion around 1:15 AM -- and officers responded to the scene in full force, carrying a wide array of weapons ... including an awesome-looking green beanbag shotgun (non-lethal). TMZ obtained a snippet of Big Willie's return to the rap game -- one minute and ten seconds of awesomeness that he laid down to intro "Summertime 3" ... a new mixtape by DJ Jazzy Jeff and Mick Boogie. The track will be available for download on June 11. We're told the Fresh Prince was amped to record the all new, smoothed out version of the 1991 classic. He and Jeff are still tight even though they haven't done a CD together since 1993. Listen here.
Staff Sgt. Norman Bone tells TMZ, he first heard about the photo from his ex-wife who was watching "AGT" -- Norman thought it was part of a tribute to the troops ... and didn't think twice about it. Tuesday night, one of the guys Bone served with in Afghanistan sent him a message on Facebook -- telling him the "AGT" segment was must-see TV ... so Bone finally checked it out online ... and now, he's livid. Bone -- who currently serves in El Paso, TX -- tells us, "First thing that came to my mind was 'Why would this lying son of a bitch do this?'" ... adding, "I'm absolutely furious. Been seeing red all day." Bone says he's never even heard of Timothy Poe -- and he's going to meet with the Army legal department to explore his options. The photo in question was originally posted here -- on the U.S. Department of Defense website -- along with the caption, "U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Norman Bone directs movement as his patrol turns around on a narrow path in the mountains of Parwan province in Afghanistan on Oct. 25, 2006." Timothy Poe has insisted from the beginning his story is legit. We called him about the photo. He hasn't gotten back to us. Update: A rep for FreemantleMedia -- the production company behind "AGT" -- tells TMZ, "We sincerely apologize to U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Norman Bone for using a photo of him in our story on Tim Poe. It was supplied to us by Tim and used on the show in good faith. It has now been removed and will not be used again." more on this story

"I had a rough time a few months ago, but I'm back to 100% and I can't wait to do the show," said Celine. During April and May, Celine began recording songs for her next English and French CDs which will be released later this year. The French CD will feature all new material whereas the English CD will feature studio versions of previously unreleased songs from her Las Vegas show as well as several brand new songs. Celine added, "I've also received some amazing new songs that I'm very excited about and eventually we hope to put one or two of these into the show." more on this story
After taking 600 rolls of film and over 20,000 photographs, The Kills are excited to announce Dream and Drive, a book of photographs by their friend and longtime collaborator, photographer Kenneth Cappello set for release on September 4th, 2012 (August 16th world ex N. Kenneth and The Kills' worlds collided in 2003; both in Paris, The Kills were shooting scenes for the film 'I Hate The Way You Love' in the basement of a clothing store, Kenneth and his camera happened to be hanging out and shot photos of the band as they worked. Tila had been paid for an 8-city singing tour in Germany -- and was scheduled to take off last night at 11:30pm ... but we're told she never showed up to the airport. Tila's manager was notified today she didn't make the flight and called Tila for an explanation -- but Tila didn't pick up her phone. The manager was worried, so she sent her assistant to Tila's house to check on her. The assistant knocked on the door, and got no answer. Tila entered rehab in March for substance abuse and psychological issues following a massive suicide scare -- when her roommate said Tila had tried to kill herself several times. Tila finished the 30-day rehab stint in April -- and her rep insisted she had fully recovered and was the healthiest Tila had ever been. Update: We're told police went inside the home and emerged a few minutes later after speaking with Tila. One officer told us, "I don't know why we were called here." more on this story
Anthony Bamonte -- owner of the 112-year-old Bamonte's in Brooklyn -- tells TMZ, Lasorda's heart attack on Monday "had nothing to do with the food here. A heart attack is a heart attack." As for what Lasorda ate Sunday night, Bamonte tells us, he downed fresh mozzarella with tomato, linguini and clam sauce, and veal scaloppine pizzaiola with mushrooms. He also had some red wine. What could go wrong with that? Bamonte said he wouldn't suggest a different menu for Lasorda next time he visits, adding, "Tommy is Tommy. You're not gonna change Tommy." Lasorda was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Monday, where doctors inserted a stent in his heart to correct a blocked artery. A rep for the Dodgers says he's resting comfortably in stable condition. more on this story
