“Don’t Hesitate” because Peter Framton is still alive and well and even has a hit single.  Tattoomedia emailed us this update: Peter’s new album “Now” will be released on August 26, 2003 and includes the current radio hit, “Verge of A Thing” as well as a classic remake of the Beatles, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”.  You can hear these at http://www.frampton.com/jukebox if you’d like to sample the new material

Brittany Murphy The Singer?
Vh1.com reports: Look out J. Lo, Janet and Tina Yothers — there's another actress about to launch a singing career. Brittany Murphy says she's hitting the studio this fall.

"I am going to start recording an album in November," she revealed, although the  chatty "Just Married" star was uncharacteristically tight-lipped about what her music will sound like. "Hey, 'Yo, yo,' you know, I have been around the '8 Mile' environment," she joked, adding more seriously, "you'll see [what kind of music it is]. It's going to be a surprise.""  Click Here for the Full Story

G3 Rides Again
Epic Reports: Joe Satriani, Steve Vai & Yngwie Malmsteen Announce G3 Tour

The 2003 incarnation of Joe Satriani's popular G3 tour will kick off on October 9th at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix, AZ and continue across the US, ending in late November (more dates TBA). Having achieved tremendous success and critical praise in their own careers, this tour will mark the first time the three influential guitarists have joined forces on the same stage. Continuing with the same successful formula as in years past, fans will be treated to individual sets by each guitarist with their own bands before joining Satriani and his band on stage for an all-star jam session.

"It's always great to get out and play with Steve and adding Yngwie to this year's tour will definitely kick our jam sessions up a notch or two! I'm looking forward
to hitting the road!" exclaimed Satriani.

Probot Correction
The publicist for Dave Grohl’s Probot has informed us that original press release sent out (and reported here yesterday) was incorrect: The track listing for the PROBOT record originally had a song slated to be mauled by SLAYER frontman Tom Araya was scrapped and replaced with a track with Kurt Brecht-the man responsible for 20 some years of hardcore belligerence in D.R.I.
