(FMQB) Last month we reported that a new company called SparkNet Communications became the exclusive U.S. licensor and owner of the Jack-FM format, including the trademarked "playing what we want" slogan. Now it appears that the company is suing Clear Channel over their usage of the Web address JackFMSanDiego.com for KMYI/San Diego and the slogan "playing whatever we want" on Clear Channel's WLTY/Columbia, SC. Furthermore, SparkNet says the slogan "playing whether the hell we want" airing on KDRB/Des Moines is "confusingly similar" to the trademarked phrase.
