Gogol Bordello Warped
PFA reports: New York rebels Gogol Bordello will bring their cathartic and debauched gypsy punk rock show, complete with vaudevillian border guards and a distinctly rambunctious political message to this year's 2005 Vans Warped Tour. Set to join the tour on July 3 in Ventura, CA the band caught the eye of Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman at The Voodoo Festival in New Orleans last fall. After being blown away by the live show, Lyman heard the band was looking for a new label and brought them over to SideOneDummy Records. He also picked them up for eleven dates in July on the Vans Warped Tour '05.

Gogol Bordello's third full-length recording "GYPSY PUNKS: Underdog World Strike," was produced by Steve Albini (Nirvana, Jimmy Page/Robert Plant) in glorious analogue sound and will be released on SideOneDummy Records on Aug. 9. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
