Ozzy
Vs Blair |
Blabbermouth reports: ContactMusic.com is
reporting that Ozzy Osbourne was far from impressed with British Prime
Minister Tony Blair during a recent meeting — because the politician seemed
more interested in picking up music tips than solving the world's problems.
Osbourne was left speechless when Blair
turned to him during a high-powered Downing Street party and wanted to
talk about BLACK SABBATH classic "Iron Man".
Ozzy says, "He told me he used to be in
a band and I felt like saying, 'You should have stayed.'
"All this Iraq thing's going on and I was
amazed that he turned round to me and said, 'I could never quite understand
how to get the riff to 'Iron Man'.[Then again should he be asking Ozzy
for advise on policy? Ozzy did encourage Belly to sing and we all know
how well that came out. see full story for more]- Click

Sony
Scumware Pt II |
tinfoil reports: SonyBMG and First4Internet,
the companies caught installing rootkit-like software on the computers
of people who bought certain CDs, have taken their first baby steps toward
addressing the problem. But they still have a long way to go; and they
might even have made the situation worse.
Yesterday, the companies released a software
update that they say “removes the cloaking technology component that has
been recently discussed in a number of articles”. Reading that statement,
and the press statements by company representitives, you might think that
that’s all the update does. It’s not. [see full story for more on what
this update does or might do according to our goodfriend tinfoil ]-

Cents: I Spy |
antiMusic reports: [Chuck returns to give
us his 2 Cents!. We'll let him get right to it.]
Sorry about the wait for the new piece,
kids. I was stuck in LA traffic.
But while I was sitting there I had the
opportunity to quiet my mind and focus.
Yes, it was a beautiful Zen moment complete
with the sound of one hand clapping and everything. It was peaceful.
That was, of course, until they started
playing Kevin Federline’s new single on the radio.
Need I say more? (Probably not, but I’m
gonna anyway.)
And that’s when I was broken from my reverie
by all the things that suck in this world…
Look, I’ll be honest with you on something;
I’m still a little bit mad that Britney Spears married someone else besides
me.
Kidding. I couldn’t care less. (It’s not
like I had a shot or anything. But she does look kinda cute in them wife
beaters…)
But just because she decides to marry someone
does not mean we have to deal with him on a daily basis, too. That’s her
job. She’s the wife, let him get his pipe and slippers and she can be the
one who nods her head approvingly and says, “That’s such a good song, Honey!
I’m so proud of you!”
Because, my gentle snowflakes, in case
you haven’t heard his single, let me be the first to tell you it sucks
like nothing has ever sucked before.
It über-sucks. [That's 1 cent
