Smell Like Manson
Blabbermouth reports: MARILYN MANSON has confirmed to MTV.com that he has tentative plans to lend his name to a commercial fragrance.

"In the sense that absurdity is a wonderful form of communication as is confusion and other things that surround it it's very possible that [the fragrance] could happen," Manson said. "If it does happen, just know that I'll be laughing. That doesn't mean I'm not taking it seriously, but if I had to make a cologne or a fragrance, I would make something that would be for men and women."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Blabbermouth reports: Garry Sharpe-Young of Rockdetector.com recently conducted an interview with DEEP PURPLE bassist Roger Glover. An excerpt from the chat follows:

Rockdetector.com: "Rapture of the Deep" marks a significant career step for the band, breaking away from EMI. It's hard to believe they got so complacent with a band like DEEP PURPLE.

Roger Glover: "We've always been in and out of love with EMI, so it was long overdue for a change. As it worked out, circumstances forced our hand but it really has turned out for the best for DEEP PURPLE. It was a total mystery to me why EMI decided not to continue the relationship."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

In an interview with the Toronto Sun he said, "...I've got Ryko asking me if I'd like to do a deluxe version. Yeah, I would. I would like to have a 5.1 version. I'll redo the packaging. Everything. But I'm not doing it for free. They're not willing to pay, so they put out whatever they put out. That's it." [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
