Escape From Earth Win Coke

. (Press Release) Chicago-based rock band Escape From Earth announces they are the grand-prize winners of the MTV/Coca-Cola Make It Real Contest. Nearly 5,000 bands from across the nation entered the contest, which began with MTV and Coca-Cola searching for the most devoted and talented un-signed musical artists in the country. Entry guidelines included writing a 500-word essay about the band and then submitting music for judging. Escape From Earth was unanimously chosen as the winner of the contest.

As contest winners, Escape From Earth will star in a commercial for Coca-Cola that will begin airing on MTV on Thursday, October 6, 2005, during the season two premiere of Making The Band 3. The commercial will feature Escape From Earth performing their song "Without" and will air over 100 times during a two and a half week period. In addition, Escape From Earth will appear in the December/January issue of Teen People Magazine, which hits the shelves on November 4, 2005.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
