Contact Music reports: JOHN LYDON is considering reforming seminal punk act the SEX PISTOLS for one final money-spinning show.

Lydon - who went by the stage name JOHNNY ROTTEN - has been approached to appear with surviving bandmates STEVE JONES, GLEN MATLOCK and PAUL COOK in Japan.

TMZ reports: Britney Spears will guest star on an episode of "Will & Grace," NBC announced Tuesday.

FMQB reports: R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe has organized some of his friends from around the music world for a digital charity EP, with all proceeds going to Mercy Corps to aid Gulf Coast victims of Hurricane Katrina. Draiman: "They're garbage. I haven't said anything to anybody. I'm not saying it isn't happening, but I haven't gotten any official confirmation myself. Some radio station in Seattle decided to speculate or something. Every radio station interview that I've done at the station though has been with the whole band, and they've heard me every single time, and I've never said anything like that. Contact Music reports: DR JOHN and members of the NEVILLE BROTHERS have formed a New Orleans, Louisiana, supergroup to help each other mourn the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
