(Contact Music) Former THE HILLTOP HUSTLERS rapper CHRISTOPHER 'COOL C' RONEY will face death by lethal injection this year (06), after his execution warrant was signed yesterday (11JAN06).
Roney, 36, was found guilty in October 1996 of the first-degree murder of a Philadelphia police officer during a failed bank heist.[see full story for more]

It's a shame that a rapper that opened the door for so many others and put Philly on the map, Cool C's life is going to end by the way of lethal injection at only 36 years old. They were one of the hottest groups at the time. What made Cool C and Steady B rob a bank. Was there no other way for them.
