(CMJ) Canadian indie collective Broken Social Scene�a super group so super we can make up words to describe their superness (see!)�will reportedly take an indefinite hiatus following a North American tour later this fall. In an interview with Billboard.com preceding a July 6 show in Brooklyn, BSS frontman Kevin Drew alluded to the fact that the band has lost some of the creative spirit that initially drove them, and that, recently, they've only been getting together to tour. "If we kept going [without a break], we'd be taking it for granted," Drew said. "Next time, we'd be doing college tours for money. That sucks the music out of you.
