Euro Benedictum
Kayos reports: San Diego CA-based power metal force BENEDICTUM, featuring bombshell vocalist Veronica Freeman, guitarist Pete Wells, drummer Blackie Sanchez, keyboardist Chris Morgan, and bassist Jesse Wright, have announced their first ever European shows in support of their Uncreation debut due to be released on March 14 (Locomotive Records).

Victory reports: Victory Records Artists dominated the Billboard charts this week, with Hawthorne Heights’ stunning #3 debut with 113,816 sold and total sales of 114,215 on their sophomore release, If Only You Were Lonely. With The Silence in Black and White in its 62nd week on the top 200, at #144 this week (7,721 sold and a total of 788,190 scanned to date)and Bayside’s Acoustic CD/DVD debuting at #200 with 5,293 scanned and total sales of 5,455, Victory Records claims three spots on the Billboard Top 200. The chart story doesn’t end there, as Victory Records charted twelve albums on the Independent Chart, three albums on the New Artist Chart and five on the Alternative New Artist Chart. Agent Sparks
Day in Rock reports: Agent Sparks featuring Ben Einziger and Paul Fried of Audiovent fame are getting ready to release their debut album, 'Red Rover,' produced by Ben's brother Michael Einziger (yes of Incubus.) The album will be in stores on May 30th on Immortal Records.

Leading up to the release the band will hit the road with Daphne Loves Derby, Waking Ashland and Quiet Drive and selected dates with 311. They will also take part in a special SxSW showcase for Tagworld on March 16 at the Soho Lounge. The band has people buzzing named as one of the Ten Bands to Break in 06 by the Los Angeles Times and 100 Bands you need to know in 06 by AP.
