Faded Youth Blog reports: Although the public face is business as usual and the continued statement being "no comment", the gay sex scandal surrounding the crooner has seriously rocked Team Clay. US magazine quoted an unamed pal of Aiken's, "Everyone is worried. Nobody wants to see Clay go down." Lollapalooza 06
antiMusic reports: Lollapalooza 06 has been announced for August 4th through 6th at Grant Park in Chicago. Perry and co are pulling out all the stops this year with 130 bands on 8 stages. This year's eclectic bunch includes the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, Queens of the Stone Age, Wilco, Sonic Youth, Blues Traveler, The New Pornographers, Eels, The Shins, Ryan Adams, The Flaming Lips, Sparta, Andrew Bird, and hundred plus more.

Rock Star 2 To Feature Jason Newsted, Tommy Lee and Gilby Clarke
CBS reports: CBS and Mark Burnett Productions announced today that legendary musicians from some of the biggest American rock bands have joined forces to form a new band, Supernova, and will use CBS's ROCK STAR (working title) as the competition to determine the new lead singer. 

Supernova will feature drummer Tommy Lee (Motley Crüe), Jason Newsted (Metallica) and Gilby Clarke (Guns N' Roses). The second edition of CBS's ROCK STAR will premiere on the Network this summer.

After the winning singer is selected on CBS's ROCK STAR, Supernova will record an original album, to be co-written and produced by Butch Walker (hit songwriter/producer for Avril Lavigne, Pink) that will be released in the fall before the band embarks on a world tour starting in early 2007.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

hecklerspray reports: Kevin Federline, whose PopoZao single is terrorising innocent music fans all over the Internet, has come up with a clever plan to make the good people of the world buy his forthcoming album - Kevin is threatening to whip his genitalia out and wave it in a grotesque and sickening manner in the faces of gullible paying customers at a strip club near you.

[Mr Spears] is keen to launch a music career - but he's no fool, he's fully expecting a giant failure. Blabbermouth reports: Launch Radio Networks reports: Although it's widely believed that AVENGED SEVENFOLD is the yet-to-be-named "mystery" band on Ozzfest this summer, the band is keeping mum about its involvement for now. But guitarist Zacky Vengeance told Launch that the group is excited about what it's got in store for June, after finishing a U.S. run with COHEED AND CAMBRIA. "After we get back from COHEED, we're thinking that we need to go back to Europe because we want to be a band that takes over the world and doesn't leave any uncharted territory," he said. "So we actually got offered to tour with just about our favorite band in the history of the world in Europe for the month of June. Blabbermouth reports: At about 1:00 a.m. CST on Thursday (March 16), NAKED BEGGARS — the band featuring Eric Brittingham and Jeff LaBar of CINDERELLA — were enroute to Hudson, WI for an upcoming show when the vehicle they were traveling in lost control on what is suspect to have been a patch of black ice and ran off the road. No one was hurt in the mishap, just understandably shaken, and vehicular damage appears to be light.
