(Gigwise) Former Wailers bassist Aston Barrett has lost his battle to recover what he says was £60m of unpaid royalties.
Barrett alleged that he was owed the money for earnings from songs co-written with Bob Marley and as part of a contract signed with Island Records in 1974.
However the case has been dismissed the morning by the presiding judge, Mr Justice Lewison, at the High Court in London according to the BBC.[see full story for more]

I think that familyman is doing the right thing even if he did agreed to a papper in 1994 so what bob marley was not a one man band it was the help of the wailers when bunny and peter was there no money was making is when familyman and carley came and they know that so they should give him about 15 million he has 52 kids come on he has to pay the court 2 millon no home no were a wailers most live in the streets i dont think so he help with bob,ziggy julian,rita and bobs mother album he should get money even if he did lose he should still get somthing there sellfish i love the marleys and there music but who is the king of one drop carlton barrett if you play one drop. The marleys always see familyman working with bob to make their lifes good but his life bad for him and his kids i know the marleys have jah so i know they have a good hart. Aston did make the agreedment but he has 52 kids and he ask for more but they didnt give him so he took it to court he spened so much money now all of his kids and houses are in problem because of sellfish people but i will pray for the marleys and aston jah knows the real winner is.
