Fear Factory Tour
09/15/05
.
(Press Release) There is no rest for the weary for self-proclaimed workaholics Fear Factory. Recently completing this summer's Gigantour and releasing their new album "Transgression" (Calvin Records, August 23rd), the band has revealed plans for a fall tour that will take them from Kansas to California on a 29- date routing.

Featuring special guests Soilwork, Strapping Young Lad and Darkane, the tour is already being hailed as one of the strongest lineups to hit the stage this year.

"We're really excited about performing with all of these bands. We're big fans of theirs and it's great to able to go out with artists that you respect musically and artistically," said Raymond Herrera, Fear Factory drummer.

Fear Factory, who is riding high off the initial success of "Transgression" which sold more than 11,000 copies in one day, has been working tirelessly to promote the new release. And, as Calvin Records President Mike Catain says, this die-hard work ethic is what separates them from the rest.

"In all my years in this business, I can honestly say that I've never met a harder-working band," said Catain. "They are always ready to give 100 percent, whether it's recording, performing or doing publicity they always give it their all. It is a pleasure to have them as part of the Calvin family."

The tour starts October 28th and runs until December 1st.
