(PR) Everclear is back with a great new album (Welcome to the Drama Club; to be released September 12th), a new single ("Hater", which is THE break-up song of the summer) and a video for "Hater" which is bound to be the most talked-about clip of 2006.
Hater is a brutally honest look at shattered relationships and for the video, the song's theme was broadened to rail against those who justify hate in the name of religion as represented by the crude & violent exploits of the clip's fictional "Hater Jesus" character. This video is certain to stir passions on both sides and must be seen! The Hater video will premiere on iFilm this Thursday, June 22nd at NOON EST/9:00 AM PST.

However justified the video was for people like Jerry Fallwell and Pat Robertson, it inappropriately offended the millions of Christians who have nothing but love for anyone regardless of their beliefs. Terrible way for Everclear to proclaim its own message of hate. There's no way to justify solving hate by creating more of it.
