(Chipster) Rock band Pillar debuts on sales charts this week with its fourth studio album The Reckoning (10/3) making an impressive impact on sales charts overall, this week, debuting at No. 70 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, with more than 14 thousand in sales its first week at retail. On the Nielsen SoundScan charts, the band claimed an impressive No. 6 on the Hard Music Chart Overall; No. 3 Record Label Independent Current Album chart; No. 19 on the Alternative chart Overall and No. 47 on the Internet Album chart.

With multiple adds at radio the band is readying for its eighth national headlining tour, the "days of THE RECKONING" tour, featuring Day of Fire, The Showdown and Decyfer Down. Opening in Minneapolis on Oct. 26, the tour will visit more than 30 cities through mid-December. Among those major markets are Chicago, Cincinnati, Baltimore, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix and Seattle. Already, industry gatekeepers are billing this tour as the "loudest tour this fall."
